Prof. Riedl Reinhard

Reinhard Riedl, Prof. Dipl. Ing. Dr. phil., has achieved a Master in Engineering from Johannes Kepler University Linz, Austria, and a PhD in Mathematics from the University of Zurich, Switzerland. He was visiting associate professor for high performance computing at the University of Rostock, Germany, and visiting full professor for communication and distributed systems at the Economics Department of the University of Zurich. Since 2006 he is professor for public management and e-government at the Business School of Bern University of Applied Sciences. Since 2008, he is also head of the research department of the business school.
Reinhard Riedl is a specialist for enterprise architecture development and for transdiciplinary innovation projects. He has been chief architect in two large multi-disciplinary European R&D projects, he is a regular evaluator and reviewer of European R&D and innovation projects, and he has supervised 6 PhD theses and more than 80 Masterâ€™s theses. In 2010 he has been appointed as member of the Swiss E-Government Advisory Board. Apart from professional management expertise, he has a broad knowledge on performing arts. Furthermore, he is co-founder and member of the board of Luchsinger Mathematics AG.
